At BQ Transport, LLC., the health and safety of our customers and service providers is our highest priority. Over the past several weeks, we have been closely monitoring developments regarding COVID-19 (commonly known as novel coronavirus). If you have a move scheduled or are planning a move, we understand you may have questions.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued guidance for Business and Employees as well as guidance for Individuals and their homes. The World Health Organization (WHO) also has excellent resource information. Following published guidance and continuing to monitor information in your own community is an effective means to help combat the spread of Coronavirus.
Working together and following recommended best practices will allow us to continue to provide transportation services to our valued customers with appropriate levels of caution and concern. BQ Transport will continue to monitor this situation daily and take any additional measures needed as we navigate this situation.
Planning your move?
BQ Transport has educated our moving network regarding Coronavirus and created a plan for a safe moving experience. For instance, we offer several options for providing a pre-move survey. We can schedule an appointment to do a virtual surveys (similar to a video chat or FaceTime), which are safe, fast, convenient and efficient. You can work closely with your moving coordinator with what works best for your situation. We can assure you BQ Transport is taking extra precautions and has educated personnel regarding Coronavirus.
Not Feeling Well?
My move is scheduled in a few days, and I’m not feeling well, what should I do? First and foremost, you should do what makes you most comfortable. It’s possible to delay the start of your move, but you should check with your moving coordinator to see what dates are available and to get details related to any changes. If you are not considered at risk, you may want to proceed. We ask, in this situation, that you alert your moving coordinator that you are not feeling well. Ultimately, the decision will be yours.
What if I need to cancel my move due to COVID-19?
You will need contact your moving coordinator directly in the event that your scheduled move needs to be cancelled or moved to a different date.

BQ Transport has taken the necessary steps to ensure the safety of both our customers and our workers with the following steps:
- Daily morning temperature checks (crew members, staffers, sales reps and movers)
- Social distancing while on job sites
- Sanitizing all trucks & moving equipment (nightly)
- Face mask/cover & gloves while on job site
- Regular Covid Testing (Every 2 weeks)
